IMAGINE NO JOHN LENNON
Recently I, (Trevor) came upon a song called “Imagine”. It’s one of those songs that tries to have a retro feel and message but comes up short like most songs now-a-days. In it, this guy John Lennon sings about how there should be “no religion”, and no this and no that. In fact, I saw some cell phone footage on Youtube of him saying that he was, “better than Jesus”. Basically, he sings about hating Christians to make a cheap buck.
Well the buck stops here. Stop it John Lennon. You know who you are. Without God, you would never be able to write songs. In fact you wouldn’t even be alive if it weren’t for OUR creator, God. So why don’t you show some respect and write a song of thanks for being alive and breathing. Until you do, I refuse to buy any of your music. Maybe once your pocket starts suffering you’ll see the light. But right now the darkness of money blinds you.
Do us all a favor and get a life Mr. Lennon. Start writing some real songs and maybe I’ll start really listening. Also, try for a more modern sound and stop trying to emulate the past like everyone else is doing today. Kids want the beats and the message (the message of Christ’s sacrifice), you should know this after all the protests against your anti-Christian behavior. Until you do this, you and your music are dead to me.

john lennon died a long time ago. he was originally in the beatles. the new bands that you cailm he is tryign to emulate are actually emulating him. i have read some of your comments on your sight and i am sincerely hoping that you are just messing w/ people. because if you are really this ignorant you need to wake up.
i know you are protesting religulous. instead of blindly accusing bill maher of, whatever, maybe you should actually try seeing the film w/ a open mind. i have seen it twice and he is fair through most the movie. though honestly he does get a little preachy at the end. but i have to emphasize that he is using well known facts to back up his arguements which is more than i can say for what you two have posted on youtube.
i know that you believe in the bible which i respect but the bible WAS written by man and i suggest you do some research on the origin of the bible. you can find some eye opening facts that you wont find in the bible.

John Lennon WAS one of the greatest musicians alive, because he sang anout peace and understanding between people here on earth. People we see face-to-face everyday. He saw that religion drove people into killing eachother because they had different religions. If everybody listen to the simple message of Jesus (peace and love) isntead of bowing down before an invisible space-god, the world would be a much better place! God bless John Lennon, and R.I.P.
